Mechanics Labourer at the National Physical Laboratory

Living at 39 Albany Road, New Malden, Surrey in 1939

Leading aircraftman (L.A.C.) (1634596) R.A.F. (V.R.) 2889 Sqdn., Royal Air Force Regiment

Was serving in Southern England with 2889 Squadron, RAF Regiment, when he was killed by the explosion of a V-1 ‘Doodlebug’ Flying Bomb on 10th August 1944, aged 38 years

Buried at St Michaels Lutheran Church Cemetery, Treorchy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales

Listed on the National Physical Laboratory War Memorial
